Academic Internship

Supervised agency placement is required of all students in the Park, Recreation and Tourism Studies program. Placement must fulfill all professionally appropriate certification standards. Minimum of 400 clock hours.

Weekly Report Example

Hadley completed a weekly report for the duration of her Internship with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Old Dominion University. Each week she would note the tasks she would do each week, meeting she attended, and what would be completed the following week.

Project Approval

During the internship, Hadley had to develop and execute a project. She planned and will execute a banquet near the end of her internship. She created a proposal that was sent to the Director of Admissions for approval and has begun arrangements for dinner and other things needed at the banquet.
